Rubs, marinades, sauces.
My family and I make many weeknight dinners this way: a bit of chicken or fish, a rub I like, a hot pan, then into a wrap. Quick, tasty, and healthy enough to feel good about. I show you how, so you can do it too.
Hi, I'm Ayden, aka Bubs. I'm 10, and I'm based in Dublin, Ireland, where I cook and bake... sometimes with a bit of help from my family.
I like a good pun, and I'm always up for tasting new dishes and trying new recipes. I love to dive in headfirst, so my mantra is: rub first, ask questions later. And if it flops? It flops. We move.
WHY IS THIS CALLED BUBS RUBS?
It's mostly rubs, marinades and sauces here, and my nickname is Bubs, so... get it? 😉
Good food shouldn't have to be a whole production. The idea behind Bubs Rubs is simple: the rub does the work. A few everyday bits, a few minutes, and it low-key tastes like you tried way harder than you did.
Fast doesn't have to be boring, and healthy doesn't have to be sad. Most of what I make is quick, but it still slaps. If I can make it, and it can make everyone go back for seconds, it's doing its job.
